AN OLD JUNGLE FABLE.

Once upon a time there were three droplets of water called Tom, Dave and Jones.

Tom belonged to a community group called the Atlantic Ocean.

Dave belonged to a community group called the Pacific Ocean.

And Jones belonged to a community group called the Southern Ocean.

Since the conception of Time, all the three oceanic community groups had their own ego beliefs and geographical pride rituals.

Each community group looked down upon the other group as inferior to itself.

Each droplet of water in each community group was willing to live and die for their territorial borders.

Then one day, the almighty sun shone harshly down upon the three territorial community groups and it so happened that Tom, Dave and Jones evaporated into the blue skies above.

Seperated from their communities and thrown into the turbulence of destiny, the three droplets of water braved their fates and apprehensively plunged forth into their uncertain futures with the conviction of their beliefs and the divine blessings of their forefathers.

Then, the almighty wind circulated itself up above near the Heavens and that is how Tom, Dave and Jones happened to meet.

Then started the ideological struggle among the three dedicated followers of their personal beliefs.

Just as their discussion turned into an arguement and was about to explode into a war of their worlds, the almighty wind bonded all the droplets tightly toghether above the continent of Africa and plunged all of them into a torrential fateful ride called rain.

Down they poured into the tropical grasslands of the South American continent.

The thill of the ride and the joy of the opportunity of getting closer to their fellow beings, made Tom, Dave and Jones forget thier differences for that moment as they relished in the passionate dance called by most among them as "the journey".

They dropped and sprinted through the hills, the tree roots, streamlets, rivulets and rivers.

Their differences forgotten, Tom, Dave and Jones had become good "companions", yet they refused to be called friends of each other.

Their ideological differences were imprinted too deeply on the consciouness of their souls.

Not bothering to come to terms with each other, they only looked forward to meeting the oceans and then going their seperate ways.

As they rushed in the rivers along with other droplets they tried to develop a compassionate view of the other's beliefs and decided to stick together and "tolerate" the other till the end of their journeys.

But just as they eagerly rushed down a bend in the river, a hand came down from above and picked the three, along with other water droplets, into a huge glass sampling bottle.

The scientist joined his two colleagues and the three, along with their water samples, travelled to their laboratory.

As Tom, Dave and Jones sat bottled and stunned in the darkness that night along with other bottles on the shelves, they shivered in fear and decided that they had been sent to hell for some crime that they had committed.

Then they pledged to each other that if they were to ever to get out of that hell, they would never agrue and would always respect the other as a true friend forever.

The next horrific morning they trembled in combined fear as they were poured into a distillation flask which was then set on fire.

As they held each other closely, praying to the powers that be for mercy, they boiled and distilled into the adjoining flask

As they cooled together they realised that they felt cleansed of their past thinkings and joined together in a moment of blissful admiration of the oneness of each other.

Their joy knew no bounds when they heard the scientist tell a child that all droplets of water were the same and were known in the world of ultimate knowledge as H20.

The current of bliss that ran through their bodies electrified their inspiration into a an innate urge to instantly spread the good news to all their fellow beings.

They hugged each other lovingly and, not wanting to waste time and agreeing to meet at the middle level that night, they split up into three levels of the water in the bottle that they were in: Tom at the top, Dave in the middle and Jones at the bottom.

The glow that radiated from the trio was alone enough to convince all the other water droplets in the three levels of the water bottle that all water droplets were the same and were chemically called H2O.

The top water level was convinced that all water droplets were one and the same and were chemically known as h2O.

The middle water level was convinced that all water droplets were one and the same and were chemically known as H2O.

And the bottom water level was convinced that all water droplets were the same and were chemically know as H2o.

And before Tom, Dave and Jones could bring their point home more clearly, as fate would have it, the scientist entered the laboratory and divided that bottle into three subsequent samples called A1, A2 and A3.

The next morning, as the three bottled samples A1, A2 and A3 sat huddled next to each other, Tom, Dave and Jones smiled at each other from their respective glass barriers.

It being the end of their scientific excursion, the scientists exchanged samples.

A1, A2 and A3 along with Tom, Dave and Jones respectively, got divided among the three scientists as they parted ways to the three ends of the South American continent.

Scientist 1 took along with him the samples A1, B1 and C1 to the northmost coastend of the country called Venezuela.

Scientist 2 took along with him the samples A2, B2 and C2 to the westmost coastend of the country called Peru.

Scientist 3 took along with him the samples A3, B3 and C3 to the southern-most coastend of the country called Argentina.

Each scientist then combined a part of each sample bottle to form new samples called D4, D4 and D4 respectively.

Tom presided over sample D4 in Venezuela, Dave over sample D4 in Peru and Jones over sample D4 in Argentina.

Slowly, as the scientists used the various samples for their various experiments, the news spread over all oceans that all water droplets were one and the same and were known as h2O, H2O and H2o in the three oceans.

The two letters "H" and "O" and the number "2" were the commonality between all water droplets in all the oceans.

The various chemical representations "h2O", "H2O" and "H2o" varied only in "format" so as to keep the individuality of all oceanic territories.

An intellectual peace reigned among all water droplets for ten years.

In the eleventh year, Tom, Dave and Jones met again in the Heavens.

This historic meeting was celebrated by all water droplets in all the oceans of planet Earth.

It was then realised by Tom, Dave and Jones that all water molecules were chemically composed of two atoms of Hydrogen and one atom of Oxygen, irrelevant of the variations in the formats of representations in the various oceans.

This scientific understanding of their composition lead to the enlightening understanding why there was a uniformity in the characteristics of all water molecules ever since.

Thus science was helpful to all water molecules in understanding the true nature of their spirit.

Their minds understood the spirit of their souls.

Their souls rejoiced because of their minds which helped them understand themselves.

And all water molecules have lived happily ever after.

Amen.
