OBJECTIVES
(a) Residence for physically challenged men.
(b) Asha Community Based Rehabilitation for physically challenged children of Andheri slum.
The Home offers basic amenities to the residents including physiotherapy and vocational skills. The residents make all kinds of handicraft items.
Asha CBR focusses on inclusive education and other interventions with the help of a team.
The Cheshire Home is managed by a religious group aided by paid staff.
Residents: 18 men.
